I began my career as a healer in 1976 when I qualified as a State Enrolled Nurse. Since then I have gained a HUGE amount of life experience. I gravitated towards a different kind of healing, with the intention of being better able to support my three wonderful sons, when I became a single parent (which was not something I’d never envisioned for myself) and studied to become a counsellor.

I worked for a number of years in a service helping people to come to terms with life changing illnesses before I decided to broaden my mind, and my approach to healing, by studying anthropology (the study of Mankind in all our glory and diversity) at Durham University. I learned that there is no right or wrong way to approach ‘medicine’ as long as the outcome is for the greatest healing and highest good of the client.

I see my clients and I as equals; they are the experts on their problems and I am the expert on therapeutic approaches, and by working together we can achieve results.
